Information about where to park and pick up numbers. This has been emailed in bulk to all who entered by 17th Sept. And will be sent in smaller batches after that as entries continue to come in.

In the information pack it says you can pick your number up from the marquee at Majuba Road car park from 8am on Sunday, In addition there is an opportunity to pick your number up from here on Saturday between 12 noon and 2pm.

 

NOTE: We are not using “Tuned In” for any event activity, everything including toilets is at Majuba Road car park – so please DO NOT enter the building unless you intend to make a purchase.

Transferring your number to another runner.

If you are unable to run and wish transfer your number to someone else then send their details (name, address, club if any, DOB, phone number and email address) to me by email using this address – This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. , email before 9pm Thursday 26th.

Please do not let another runner use your number without doing this, as it is against UKA rules and we make no charge for doing it.

The details will be updated on the Results Site and not the entry site.

Changing Race

If you have entered the half marathon but your training has not gone as well you might have hoped then you might wish opt for a transfer to the Zetland 10k or Beacon 5km instead – email before 9pm Thursday 26th, if you want to do this,  use this address – This email address is being protected from spambots. Autumn Coast Road 5km Entrants Info Email sent 21st August

Thank you for entering the final of our 2019 Coast Road Races, the Autumn Coast Road 5k on Wednesday 4th September, starting at 7:15pm.

Please note your bib number above (on sent emails only)

You can collect your number from Redcar Rugby Club, Green Lane, Redcar, TS10 3RW from 5:30pm onwards where there is limited car parking.

PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN NEARBY FOOTBALL CLUB CAR PARK.

There is further parking available along certain sections of the Coast Road and also at Stray Car Park about 400m beyond the finish area, where there are also public toilets.

If you are unable to run, please do NOT let anyone run with your number without letting me know in advance – I will accept swaps up to mid-day on Wednesday by replying to this email.

Any swaps will be updated on results site and not the entry site.

Please advise friends that have not entered that there are no longer any entries on the day - anyone turning up will be disappointed. 

Please run with your number pinned to the FRONT of your vest with FOUR pins, one in each corner. This helps with our video back system!

Prizes will be awarded to the best 25 age graded percentage performances.

A reminder about the Redcar Running Festival which includes Redcar ½ Marathon, Zetland 5k, Zetland 10k and 2k Fun Run on Sunday 29th September. Some discounted entries are still available!

Later in the year we have our final 2019 races on Sunday 27th October - A Men only 5 mile race followed by A Women only 5 Mile race in Locke Park - these races incorporate the North East Masters Athletics Association (NEMAA) 5 mile Championships.

Summer Coast Road 5km Entrants Info Email sent 2nd July

You can collect your number from Redcar Rugby Club, Green Lane, Redcar, TS10 3RW from 5:30pm onwards where there is limited car parking. There is further parking available along certain sections of the Coast Road and also at Stray Car Park about 400m beyond the finish area, where there are also public toilets.

The race starts at 7:15pm and the start line is about 10 minutes walk from the Rugby Club

If you are unable to run, please do NOT let anyone run with your number without letting me know in advance – I will accept swaps up to mid-day on race day by replying to this email. The race is full and I have a waiting list - if I am able to sell your place to someone on the waiting list I will refund your fee less a small admin fee.

Any swaps will updated on results site and not the entry site.

Please run with your number pinned to the FRONT of your vest with FOUR pins, one in each corner.

Prizes will be awarded to the best 25 age graded percentage performances.

It’s just  a week until the second race in our Coast Road Series, on Good Friday 19th April

The online transfer system is now closed – however there are still plenty of people on the waiting list if you find that you are unable to run.

There is on going re-paving work going on along the Coast Road pavement. It may be finished before the race, or it may not have reached a point where it affects the course - only the last 10 meters would be affected for this race. All we can do is wait and see, but there is a contingency plan.

Please use one of these links word or pdf  to access details for Sunday's event. Please read carefully - it includes information such as where to park, your bib number, where and when to collect it from.

Please visit our partner results site where the race result including your individual mile splits will be available after the race.

Please be aware that a junior parkrun in the park before the race  - 9am start. If you have children with you on Sunday, provided they are registered with parkrun they will be able take part.

Finally, if you are unable to run on Sunday and you know someone that you want to use your number then you can transfer the entry - but transfers can only made by emailing me.

Currently there is no waiting list and entries are still open
