New Marske Harriers (with support from Redcar & Cleveland Council), are pleased to be hosting Northern Athletics Spring Relays -12 stages for men / 6 stages for women on Sunday 30th March. There will also be 5km (certified) races for U15 and U17 runners.

This is open to clubs affilaited to Northern Athletics and will attract teams from the Humber to the Mersey up to the Scottish Border. 

28 March update: The gas main work on Redcar Lane (which will not affect the actual course) is still on going. The best news is that it has moved away from the entrance to the racecourse car park. So the advice is to approach Redcar Lane from the A174, rather than the A66/A1085. This will mean that you have a left turn into the carpark! However I have just test driven through this area at 6:30pm and the news is not great, poorly phased temporary traffic lights meant the queue was unduly long and given that it is Mother's day on Sunday plus the road closure for our event will divert extra traffic to Redcar Lane I recommend adding 15 minutes to your estimated travel time.
